Welcoming. Not pretentious. A place to practice all the mindfulness you already know how to do, but just have time to fit into your day.
Let yourself be supported to really take a break.

    Simply incredible!!!!
I was anxious the day before but from the time I arrived I switch off immediately, I was welcomed by Sunjay, Jo-jo and a little girl called Deborah all super friendly. The staff & Volunteers was also not only nice but so helpful at all time making you comfortable. The food was good, great little bush walks, great yoga sessions.
I came out after 2 days completely relax and I will definitely be back. DB

The best. Enjoyed everything in the schedule during the retreat - highlights include the morning walk and meditation before bed. The food was AMAZING, some of the best vegan food I’ve had. The volunteers and staff were all super friendly, shout out to Damon (sp?) who went out of his way to help me!

First, I feel it's important for me to note that, Swami's have volunteers as staff to assist and help guests, so please be kind and show them appreciation. The volunteers were super nice and friendly and they work hard to keep Swami's the way it is.

I stayed for 2 nights. Came on my own. Checked in on Wednesday afternoon and enjoyed the steam room to loosen my tight muscles before the afternoon yoga session with Donna who did a lovely stretch yoga which felt great. The room I was in was spacious, with 2 single beds very comfy!, 2 large seats and an open clothes hanger with shelves for luggage or clothes. The bathroom was decent and clean, shower wasn't great tho. I took with me (as suggested/advised on Swami confirmation email) personal items, sunscreen, hat, swimming costume, yoga mat, cushion and blanket. Swami's supply towels but no soaps nor shampoo. Although, they did have mats, cushions and blankets in the yoga room for use/share.

After the yoga and settling in I heard the bell for dinner, (bells are for letting guests know it's the start of activities and food). Dinner was vegetarian, (food here is vegan but they accommodate other food intolerance/allergies/diet) it was utterly delicious and I found myself very full and satisfied. I met and sat with lovely people whom I will always remember, we ended up forming our own little group. I retreated back to the room to get ready for evening meditation which was a chanting (OM) session with Sonny.

The next day I skipped the walk and opted to sleep in. I got up at 8.30 and did a DIY yoga stretch followed by breakfast which was this gorgeous barley/oatmeal with spices, sultanas and fresh fruit. Yum!! Morning yoga was a treat. It was 90mins with Tracey who did a restorative yoga followed by a half hour sound bath/mediation. The sound bath was a wonderful experience truly therapeutic.(I highly recommend to try a sound bath. Luckily, Tracey Nikitaras is only down in Cronulla so I can visit her for a much longer sound bath session.) I was so grateful to experience this session.

The workshop after lunch was with Natalia also a Reiki practitioner. Natalia did a manifestation workshop where she dabbed essential oils on our hands and got us to breathe in the smell. We did some throat chakra exercise also. After the session I asked Natalia if she was able to do a Reiki session and she was happy to do so. So I missed afternoon yoga to do Reiki instead and Natalia came to my room to do the session.

The Reiki was a profound experience for me. I had a strong reaction to it and found myself experiencing sensations in my body I couldn't explain. I was tingling, I was numb and had a semi astral experience where I felt I was floating, also felt like something like a weighted blanket on top of me. We had a chat about my experience after.

The next day I was light as a feather and full of joy and happiness. I did an enlightening morning walk with Sonny still feeling elated. After lunch I headed back home.

It was such a shame I only stayed for 2 nights, I would've gladly done 3. Also, I wish they did a cooking class! The meals were so tasty and I would've loved to learn more about vegan cooking.

All in all the volunteers were very kind and friendly. They really look after you and Swami's just had this lovely vibe/aura. I met a bunch of good people and took away memories I'll always cherish.

The most incredible, restorative 3 nights i’ve ever experienced. As a beginner to yoga I felt incredibly comfortable in all of the classes. Everyone at Swamis was so lovely, the food was amazing and the environment was beautiful. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to unwind, spend some time to themselves and practice yoga and meditation.
