- Louise Cridland Added July 18, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Wonderful cheap and cheerful boat rental. Spent a day out on the hawkesbury with a boat rental from here and it was good fun. Some things can be clearer and better communicated (e.g. hire timing- we hired a boat for 12:30- 4:30, but at 4:15 were called to say we were late?). Overall very friendly service and we would come back!

The workers were absolutely horrendous, given that we spent that much, we thought we are worthy of some help when we asked but we were turned away rudely "do it yourself, buy your own tools" when we asked for 2 tools.
Now for the boat, one of the room had dog hair all over, one of the beds had blood on it. Water ran out a day before our trip ended, showers were filthy.

Hilda and the team made the experience easy and enjoyable.
We travelled down to Spencer's and went to a great little restaurant on the water called "The Anchor Spencer" which was fantastic. The owner (who is great) comes and picks you up from your houseboat in a tinny (and also takes you back after lunch) - Narelle Added July 03, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ★Very friendly family run business. Great communication. We hired smallest houseboat.. it was so cute. I would not have more than two people on small houseboats. Boats were clean and had basic kitchen supplies, stove plus BBQ Need blankets and pillows and towels. Trip was great hardly anyone on river. Am doing it again as soon as I can.
